Account & Data Deletion

Fursa is a marketplace app for Kuwait (com.fursa.store). If you created an account in the Fursa mobile app, you can request permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data using the steps below.

How to request deletion

  1. 1Open the deletion request form using the button below (or email support@fursakw.com from the email address linked to your Fursa account).
  2. 2Provide your registered email address and confirm that you want permanent account deletion.
  3. 3Submit your request. We will verify that you own the account.
  4. 4We will process your request within 30 days and send confirmation to your registered email when deletion is complete.
  5. 5After deletion, you will need to create a new account if you wish to use Fursa again.

What we delete

  • Profile information: display name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, profile photo, and bio.
  • Your listings and associated photos, videos, and descriptions.
  • Your wishlist and saved items.
  • Offers you created or received that are tied to your account.
  • Push notification device tokens linked to your account.

What we may keep

  • Payment references and listing promotion purchase records (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Minimal records needed for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our Terms & Conditions.
  • Data we are required to retain by applicable law, then deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

Retention period

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Backup copies may take up to an additional 30 days to purge from our systems. Financial and transaction-related records may be retained for up to 7 years where required for accounting, tax, or legal compliance, then deleted or anonymized.
